Help Us Help Maddie - Our New T-Shirt Fundraiser (Going February 1, 2021 - February 28, 2021)
Our Friend Maddie
Our dear friend, Maddie Cansler, has been battling cancer for ten years, through moments when doctors told her she would not live, to moments of extreme hope, and everything in between.
Through this all she has been amazing to others. She mourns with others as they experience their own trials, and tries to share her faith and hope with them. She never asks for anything, but she deserves so much!
Maddie is now going through another tough fight against the glioma-type tumor in her spinal column. Her condition is rare and aggressive, and her loving family is doing all they can to help.
Now we are asking for financial help in their faithful fight!

I know so many of us have been isolated or going through difficult situations over this past year. Maddie and her family have had to alter their lives (which they have done so willingly and lovingly), for ten years now to accommodate Maddie's care. Through it all Maddie has remained faithful, hopeful, kind, fun and giving. I have never met a person with more light and strength. I hope we can both help her and show her that she does inspire us, that she is not forgotten, and that we are sending her love, hope, prayers, and joining her fight to help her continue to inspire us all!
How Can You Help?
Right now I am sharing five ways to provide financial help for the Cancer family:

- Donate directly to her Venmo fundraising account (If you would rather donate than buy a shirt, this option is a little better. Gofundme is great, but does take a percentage of donations)

How to Buy a Maddie-Inspired, Maddie-Helping shirt:
- Tell me the size, color, men or women’s shirt(s) you want
- Grey or blue option, for men or women’s shirts
- Options for sizes are XS, S, M, L, XL
- The men’s is crewneck, no matter the color, the women’s is v-neck, no matter the color
- Send orders to me, Melissa, by call or text at (503) 318-9864 -- or --
- Email orders to me at mcintosh.melissa.a@gmail.com
- I will let you know how you can pick up the t-shirt, if you are local, or how much shipping will cost, if you live further away. We will keep pickups pandemic friendly!
- Venmo me or send a check for the amount of shirts (Venmo preferred), or shirts + shipping
- Shirts are $15 each (shipping will depend on how many shirts per package and how far they are traveling)
- We will get your shirts to you ASAP!
- All proceeds will be given straight to the Cansler family. <3
Bonus Kindness:
Take a photo of yourself in your Maddie Shirt, or wear a purple or blue shirt if you are donating another way, or take a photo if you simply want to share some love with Maddie (purple and blue are Maddie’s favorite colors). Digitally send the photo to me with your favorite scripture verse or inspirational quote.
I will compile all the photos and send them to Maddie in an album, and digitally!
Maddie is always so willing to share what she loves with others, it would be beautiful to share back!
